One Act of Madness
ONE ACT OF MADNESS
Inspired by the true story of a pig who was publicly hung for murder, One Act of Madness brings you mankind’s darkest spectacle. Through the stories of a small town’s self-destruction and the rehearsals of a gruesome West-end musical, the play examines the justifications for, and effects of, the death penalty.
One Act of Madness is a visually stunning blend of puppetry, object manipulation, physical storytelling, dance and magical trickery. The original score and live music evoke an eerie and unusual world, although the human emotions on display are all too familiar.
